Reviews for this Album

I think that the only song here where the remix works is Vox. Perhaps that is because it was originally done with multiple mixes, of multiple speeds, and so was not as jarring. "Answer" is a second, I'd say, although the double bass beat seems to be slightly off sync with the pace of the lyrics now and then. I much prefer the originals, and even some of the rough pre-release versions from The Freedom Sessions.

I would rate the remix of "Stupid" as the most jarring and displeasing, but this is probably because the original is so perfectly arranged. This new mix of "Fallen" just sounds like generic techno.

I understand that it's an attempt to get new fans, but I especially dislike "Just Like Me." It's not even the best example of an interesting or complex rap song, which is what I would have hoped for in a number Sarah was involved in.

I listened to this in hopes of finding a followup to the Mirrorball album that I so thourghly enjoy and listen to almost every day. I never tire of your soulful voice in that album and wish you would fire the mixer that drounds you out.

Sarah if you ever read these yourself please listen. These wacko remixes have always been a diversion from what you are. The only one of these wacked out studio remixes I have ever gotten into at all was one Debbie Harry did back in the 80's I think it's just called Blondie Remixed or something. But Debbie Harry is just plain weird. You are just like me. You are eccentric you are unpredictable you are unconventional you are completely inventive you are disruptfully shockfull. But you're not really weird.Talk to Debbie about that if you have any aquaintence. If you're not naturally weird thier's the tendecy to push it to far in these. UH UH my precious one. I'll get to Solace and Touch soon. Lot's to say about both
